...I totally fail as a person, I apologize, gang. ;; I haven't updated this in forever and a day. Anyway, I come here for a request.

I want to commission someone to draw some stuff for me, mostly revolving around a recent fanfic I've been working on in the Tekken universe. It involves a couple of OCs, Jin/Devil Jin, and Lars, mostly.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

A tablet. I've been wanting one for a while, and I'm always interested in trying new ways to draw things.
Art books! Ones I've been looking for are for Persona 3/4 and the King of Fighters Character Encyclopedia.
ICONS. 8D; I LJ RP a lot, and I'm always interested in getting new icons, especially for characters like Sol Badguy [Guilty Gear], Nate Grey [X-Man], Rock Howard [KoF/Fatal Fury], Sheva Alomar, Leon Kennedy [Resident Evil], etc.

I don't know whether to be irritated or be amused...more likely the latter.

Anyway, while checking some things out over at , I noticed that one of my linearts had gotten fav'd. Curious, I decided to click on the guy that did it.

The next part's the kicker.

He decided to stick it in, and I quote, "The Worst Shit I've Ever Seen" folder. Now, I'm not going to link to his DevArt account, that'd just give him the attention he wants. I just kinda find it hilarious that he would go around and have an actual FOLDER where he sticks this so-called 'shit' in. Some of it is actually pretty good stuff.

EDIT: I also forgot something else. The guy didn't have the balls to put it in this folder on my account, he did it through the club's uploaded version (which you're not supposed to do in the first place). Yeah....that's a sign of real intelligence. [/sarcasm]

And reading the description of said folder...it was as a friend of mine said when they saw it: "You should be astonished he can operate a keyboard without supervision."

And if you're reading this, bud, listen up. Honestly, I don't care that you stuck my lineart in there. Sure, there's better out there. But there's definitely a hell of a lot worse out there too. Just taking the time to single out 'bad art' is not only insipid, but extremely childish to do as well. Don't like, don't fav. That's all I'll say about the matter.

Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Hikari: Yeah...had, anyway. Kazu died when we were only kids.
Subaru: *nods* Jin, my older brother... but...
Luke: Nope, I’m an only child, although there were people that were like siblings to me, do they count?
Eros: I have one full sister, Aphrodite, and quite a few half-siblings, I’m not even sure how many I have exactly...

What's your height?
Hikari: I’m about 5’8”. Decently tall for a girl.
Subaru: 5’7” ...but the old man’s shorter than me! (albeit the fact he isn’t that old)
Luke: 6’2”. Same height as Dante, but taller than Ren.
Eros: I’m about the same height as my father- 5’7”.

How old are you?
Hikari: I’m 10 years younger than Dante, so early-to-mid 20’s.
Subaru: Just turned 19 after the raid on Mt. Kara.
Luke: 24. The guys tend to call me ‘babyface’ for being where I am as young as I am.
Eros: 19.

Are you a virgin?
Hikari: Eh? Oh, hell no.
Subaru: Unfortunately, no. I kinda wish my first...didn’t fall apart after that moment.
Luke:  Well...erm...yeah.
Eros: Y-yes! What kind of question is that?!

Who's your mate/spouse?
Hikari: Don’t have one as of this point. I’m too busy helping Nero run the new Order to really worry about that kind of thing.
Subaru: Nobody yet.
Luke: I don’t have one yet...but I think I’m falling in love with Ren...
Eros: Nobody of that caliber....I’m just trying to figure things out about myself first!

Do you have any kids?
Hikari: Hah! No.
Subaru: Eh?! I hope not!
Luke: No, but I do love kids...
Eros: WHAT?! *blushes furiously*

What's your favourite food?
Hikari: Barbequed chicken pizza.
Subaru: Steaks. Always make them when I feel like crap, they cheer me up!
Luke: I’ve been having a craving for Teriyaki lately, I think it’s because Ren makes it...
Eros: I’ve developed a craving for pocky lately, dunno why, though.

Have you killed anyone?
Hikari: ...I’m a demon hunter, so yeah, it’s happened.
Subaru: Yeah...not that I had any choice in the matter....
Luke: As a cop, it’s come up.
Eros: No. I don’t want to resort to that kind of thing unless absolutely necessary.

Do you hate anyone?
Hikari: Scientists that try fucking with the natural order of things. They’re the reason why Kazu’s gone, Kai and Ryo went batshit, and I got this! *shows her prosthetic arm*
Subaru: The Federation. They not only oppress the people...but they turned my brother into a monster.
Luke: Not really, no. Although once I found out about Ren’s brother...
Eros: Dr. Prince...if there’s one guy that can give me the creeps just by looking at him, that’d be him.

Have any secrets?
Hikari: Secrets? Everyone’s got them. What makes you so special that you get to hear them?
Subaru: Hm...nothing really particularly juicy, if that’s what you’re looking for. Sorry.
Luke: Not really, no. ^^
Eros: ...yes, I do...but why are you so interested in them?

Do you love anyone?
Hikari: I’m not really sure, to be honest. I feel for this one guy, but he’s currently trying to kill me, so that’s postponed until further notice.
Subaru: I...think I do, yeah. Lucia....I don’t want her getting involved, but it’s going to end up happening, both of us know it.
Luke: Yeah...I think I’m in love with Ren...but I’m not sure how she feels.
Eros: *nods slowly* Serenity...she’s helped me through a lot.

What is your job?
Hikari: Former freelance demon hunter, now second-in-command of the new Order of the Sword.
Subaru: Lieutenant of the Returners, a rebel group fighting against the Federation.
Luke: Captain of the Homicide Division of the MPD and liaison officer to the Devil Hunters.
Eros: I don’t really have a job at this point...

What do you do to relax?
Hikari: Spar, read, listen to music, take some naps...andburnrandomobjects. *cough*
Subaru: Clean my guns, cook, spar...and nap.
Luke: Play pool, drink with the boys...shoot things too.
Eros: Read, talk with Serenity, meditate, help my family out. The usual.

There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?
Hikari: I have a simple little formula. The more they’re teasing = the harder I’ll hit. Simple as that.
Subaru: *shudders* Remind me not to get on her bad side. Anyway, I usually take it in stride, bounce something right back at them.
Luke: I’m pretty well-liked, but I’ll just take it in stride, ignore it. It works.
Eros: Try to ignore it, but it somehow affects me...

Let’s say you have a person who you really care about but she/ he doesn’t know about your feelings. How do you tell her/him?
Hikari: I usually don’t. Being close to me can be considered to be a death wish.
Subaru: I try to tell them straight out, although it always isn’t that easy...
Luke: Er...ah...good question. I’m actually in that situation right now... *blushes slightly*
Eros: I was actually in that situation myself...but we ended up talking about it at one point...and things went from there.

Do you like your maker?
Hikari: Oh, hell yeah! *snerk* I’m half-based off her, for gods’ sake!
Subaru: Lii’s pretty cool, she created us, after all...although I do wish that she’d quit making my life miserable at some points... *glare*
Luke: *nodnod* She let me and Ren get together...although our wedding night could’ve been a lot more peaceful...
Eros: I...I guess...

What’s your weapon(s) of choice?
Hikari: Broadswords all the way, baby!
Subaru: My girls *twirls Fuyu and Natsuki* and my fists...that’s all I need.
Luke: I’m trained in mostly firearms combat, but I do know some hand-to-hand thanks to working with Dante and Ren.
Eros: I use this *holds up the replica Buster Sword* coupled with chi manipulation...it’s all I need to protect those that I care about.

What is considered your theme/image song(s)?
Hikari: “The Howling” by Within Temptation and “I’m So Sick” by Flyleaf are my main fight themes; one of my main themes is actually “Cold Hard Bitch” by Jet.
Subaru: “Me Against the World” by Simple Plan’s my theme, and my theme with Lucia is “You Save Me” by Kenny Chesney, but my image song would have to be “Time of Dying” by Three Days Grace.
Luke: Good question, eh heh...
Eros: Mine and Serenity’s theme is “Learn to Crawl” by Black Lab, as for my actual theme... “Savior” by 30 Seconds to Mars.
